Swedish Lottery Bonds
As an introduction the Swedish Lottery Bonds serves to
unique financial instruction as well as source of funds
used by Swedish national Debt Office (SNDO): lottery bonds.
The case focuses on review are conducted are by SNDO to
decide if the use of lottery bonds remains eye-catching
and, if so, to decide on the pricing intended for the
next bond issue.
The Europe Research Center (ERC) staff was active in
writing this case. Initially, they established contact
with the suitable people at the SNDO. Consequently,
they coordinated a set of meetings as well as conference
calls between Associate Professor George Chacko and
the SNDO. Later than the SNDO and Chacko had decided
on what to pay attention in the case, Chacko met with
the ERC to compose an outline. At the moment, the ERC
took over the writing, contacting Chacko or else SNDO
when input was required. They have sent drafts of the
case to Chacko, permitting him to review what they were
writing so the case stayed on course. They also sent
drafts frequently to the SNDO for review.
"On the whole, working with the ERC was the most
excellent case-writing experience I've ever had,"
Chacko says. "They freed up a huge deal of my time,
which I was capable of spending money on research and
other cases."
