Temporary Administrator Bond
Temporary administrator bond is a bond which is created
for the purpose of the temporary administrator. When
there is a necessary for the protection of the estate
before the grant of letters testamentary, the chancery
court or chancellor in vacation of administrator employs
a suitable person known as temporary administrator.
The executor or the person apparently entitled to letters
of administration may be employed as temporary administrator,
unless the court shall find required appointment of
another person. This bond ensures the proper performance
of the temporary administrator.
The temporary administrator powers may be special
or general, as the court may find him to be proper and
he may be endorsed to take charge of and administrate
the estate until the appeal or contest shall be determined.
The temporary administrator has to give a bond equal
to the penalty value of all the personal estate, with
condition in the sureties as approved by the court or
clerk which is payable to the state.
