Weigh Master Bond
The Cities Fire Department Chief shall appoint a member
of the department, who shall be known as the City's
"weigh master”. The weigh master is appointed to
have official charge of the scales maintained in the
City and he has to keep on weighing any commodity requested
by any individual. The chief of fire department may
allocate to other members of the department from time
to time, to do the actual weighing under the supervision
and direction of the weigh master.
The weigh master has to under take a bond called weigh
master bond. Before taking charge on his duties, the
weigh master has to execute a bond to the city and he
has to pay a corporate surety in the penal sum of $1,000.00
to the City. He has to guarantee his faithful performance
of the weighing. He shall pay the premium on said bond
to the City. This weigh master bond guarantees the faithful
performance of weighing by the weigh master.
